In the heart of Nairobi, a journey unfolded, leaving behind footprints of joy and gratitude. The Nairobi Tabasamu shoe distribution initiative, now concluded, has woven a tale of compassion and impact that deserves to be shared.

Dancing in Kibera: A Symphony of Joy

The apex of our initiative was witnessed in Kibera, where the Swahiba Ambassadors’ kids danced with unbridled joy during the distribution. Amidst their lively steps, 574 pairs of shoes found new homes, creating a canvas of happiness.

Beyond Boundaries: Extending Our Reach

Our commitment extended to four key areas within Nairobi—Kibera, Korogocho, Nairobi Juvenile Remand Home, and Edmond Rise. A total of 793 pairs were distributed, reaching individuals in need and leaving a lasting impact.

This year, our journey took a significant turn as we ventured into remote interior areas—Kilifi and Budalangi counties. The final count for these regions is a remarkable 6,135 pairs of shoes, symbolizing our commitment to making a difference in every corner.

Surpassing Goals: Celebrating Impact

Though our initial target for 2023 was set at 10,000 pairs, the journey surpassed expectations. By the time we reach our final destination in Budalangi, we would have distributed a total of 7,014 pairs. While falling short of the initial goal by 2,986 pairs, the magnitude of our impact in these communities remains substantial.
