The Love Nairobi Festival

A Celebration of Unity, Music, and Inspiration

From September 15th to 17th, the University of Nairobi Sports Grounds transformed into a hub of joy and inspiration as the Love Nairobi Festival unfolded its vibrant tapestry of events. Organized by a collaborative effort, the festival brought together diverse activities, showcasing a blend of local and international talents.

A Melange of Activities

The festival catered to all ages, featuring a plethora of activities, including children’s games, bouncing castles, and fun games that kept families engaged throughout the weekend. An American team wowed the audience with adrenaline-pumping bike stunts, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.

Spiritual Upliftment

The spiritual dimension of the festival was highlighted by a powerful sermon delivered by Andrew Palau. Attendees were left pondering profound questions about the essence of life, as Palau posed, “Was I leaving a life that, if snuffed out in a plane crash, would leave a sweet aroma representative of what matters most?”

Musical Extravaganza

Music, a universal language, took center stage at the Love Nairobi Festival. The lineup featured a harmonious blend of local and international artists, including Pompi, Christafari band, Evelyn Wanjiru, Jabidii, King Kaka, Didiman Music, DJ ggactivist, DJ Klifftah, and the renowned Don Moen. The crowd was treated to an unforgettable worship performance by Don Moen, who enchanted them with beloved songs like “God Will Make a Way,” “Give Thanks,” and “I Offer My Life.”

Dynamic Hosts and Partners

The festival was skillfully hosted by The Reverend Dad, aka Mlami Mwitu, Nyawira Gachugi, and Timeless Noel, who kept the energy high and the atmosphere vibrant. Homeboyz Kenya, one of the partners, played a pivotal role by providing amazing sound, live-streaming services, and a stage that enhanced the overall experience.

Media Documentation

Lee Pitts Photography, part of the dedicated media team, ensured that every moment of the festival was captured with finesse. Thanks to Pst David Ewagata and Yhub Networx, the event was meticulously documented, preserving memories for participants and future generations.
